Gov Oyebanji to Present Operational Vehicles to Security Agencies in Ekiti
Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, is set to present newly acquired operational vehicles to security agencies in the state as part of efforts to strengthen security operations and improve the fight against crime.
The presentation ceremony is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the Osuntokun Pavilion, Government House Grounds, Ado-Ekiti, according to a statement issued by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Olayinka Oyebode.
The event will involve the formal handover of the newly acquired vehicles to the heads of various security agencies operating in the state.
The state government said the provision of the operational vehicles is aimed at improving the logistics and operational capacity of security agencies, particularly in their efforts to prevent and respond to criminal activities across Ekiti.
The initiative forms part of the Biodun Oyebanji administration’s continued investment in security and the welfare of residents, with the government describing the support as part of its broader commitment under the Shared Prosperity agenda.
According to the statement, the administration considers effective security operations essential to protecting lives and property and creating an environment conducive to the development of the state.
The governor’s planned presentation of the vehicles is therefore expected to provide additional operational support to security agencies and enhance their ability to carry out their responsibilities across Ekiti State.
The announcement was signed by Olayinka Oyebode, Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor, on September 20, 2026.
