The member representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency I in the House of Representatives, Hon. (AVM Rtd.) Rufus Adeniyi Ojuawo, has commended Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, for providing 100 operational vehicles to security agencies across the state.

Ojuawo described the initiative as a significant investment in Ekiti State’s security architecture, saying it demonstrates the governor’s commitment to protecting the lives and property of residents.

In a statement issued by his media office, the federal lawmaker praised Oyebanji’s leadership, stressing that adequate logistics and operational support are essential for security agencies to effectively discharge their responsibilities.

According to him, the provision of the vehicles would enhance the ability of security personnel to respond promptly to distress calls, conduct patrols across communities and improve coordination among the various security agencies operating in the state.

Ojuawo noted that mobility remains a critical component of modern security operations, particularly in responding to emergencies and maintaining a visible security presence in both urban and rural areas.

He expressed confidence that the new vehicles would contribute to faster response times and strengthen collaboration among security agencies in Ekiti State.

The lawmaker also linked the initiative to ongoing national discussions around state policing, saying the investment demonstrates the state’s preparedness for developments in Nigeria’s security architecture.

He, however, urged the benefiting security agencies to ensure proper maintenance of the vehicles and deploy them strictly for operational purposes to ensure that residents derive maximum benefit from the investment.Ojuawo commends Governor Biodun Oyebanji for providing 100 operational vehicles to security agencies to strengthen security operations across Ekiti State.
