The Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its full-time National Diploma (ND) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. According to a release from the Office of the Registrar (Academic Affairs Division), the institution invites applications from suitably qualified candidates nationwide who are eager to receive a quality polytechnic education grounded in excellence, technology, and innovation.
This admission exercise spans five major academic schools: the School of Agricultural Technology, School of Engineering Technology, School of Environmental Technology, School of Management Sciences, and School of Science and Technology. A total of 13 National Diploma programmes are available, all designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills relevant to the evolving demands of the modern workplace.
In the School of Agricultural Technology, applicants can enroll for ND in Agricultural Technology, while the School of Engineering Technology offers ND programmes in Computer Engineering Technology and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology. For those interested in the built environment and sustainable development, the School of Environmental Technology offers ND in Estate Management and Valuation as well as Urban and Regional Planning.
The School of Management Sciences—which has consistently attracted a large number of prospective students—offers ND courses in Business Administration and Management, Public Administration, Accountancy and Office Technology and Management. Meanwhile, the School of Science and Technology provides ND programmes in Science Laboratory Technology, Statistics, Tourism Management Technology and Computer Science.
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have selected Federal Polytechnic Ayede as their first choice institution during the 2025 UTME and must have scored a minimum of 120. However, candidates who did not initially choose the institution are still eligible, provided they effect a change of institution on the JAMB portal. Applicants are also expected to possess at least five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings, in accordance with JAMB guidelines.
Candidates awaiting their ‘O’ Level results are encouraged to apply, but they must ensure their results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal as soon as they are available. The institution emphasized that only online payment and application via the admission portal will be accepted, with a non-refundable form fee of ₦2,000.

The admission application process officially commenced on Monday, August 4, 2025, and the deadline for submission of applications is Friday, September 19, 2025. All candidates are advised to complete their applications early and ensure the use of an active email address for correspondence.
