The annual EKIFEST cultural festival concluded today with a vibrant closing parade and awards ceremony honoring the most outstanding local government areas (LGAs) and local council development areas (LCDAs) across Ekiti State.
The highlight of the event was Ado Central LCDA’s impressive showing, taking home several top prizes. Ado Central was awarded 1st place in the traditional wrestling competition, cementing its reputation as a powerhouse in this beloved Ekiti tradition.
In the art and craft exhibition, Kajola LCDA earned the top spot, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity of its artisans. Not to be outdone, Ekiti West LG was awarded 2nd place overall for its strong performance across the festival’s diverse events.
