The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFiB) has informed applicants who participated in the 2025 recruitment exercise to check their shortlist status as the selection process progresses into the next stage.
In an official announcement issued by the Secretary to the Board, Major General A. M. Jibril (Rtd.), the Board directed candidates who applied to the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to visit the recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng starting from Thursday, 30th October 2025.
According to the statement, applicants are required to verify whether they have been shortlisted and to obtain further details regarding the Computer Based Test (CBT), including the examination date, venue, and time.
The Board emphasized the importance of using only the official portal for all recruitment-related information. This precaution, it noted, is aimed at protecting applicants from fraudulent individuals and fake websites seeking to exploit unsuspecting job seekers.
“All applicants are urged to strictly use the Board’s official portal highlighted above in order to avoid being scammed,” the announcement stated.
The notice, dated 29th October 2025, reaffirms the Board’s commitment to a transparent, credible, and merit-driven recruitment process across the four paramilitary agencies under its oversight.
