Deputy commissioner of police commits suicide in Lagos

Solidstarnews reports the tragic incident involving Gbolahan Olugbemi who commits suicide on Monday. Until his death, He was a Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of special investigation in Panti, Lagos State.

According to reports, Mr. Olugbemi, who previously served as an aide de camp to former Oyo State Governor Adebayo Alao Akala, took his own life while visiting his home for the Easter holidays.

The exact circumstances surrounding his suicide remain unclear, and it is unknown whether he was married or not. Following the incident, the police have secured the area, and there are groups of individuals who were observed discussing the situation in hushed tones.

It appears that Mr. Olugbemi lived alone on Petros Academy Street in the Federal Lowcost area of Ogbomoso, Oyo State. Despite his personal struggles, he was known to have occasionally arrived at his residence accompanied by police security. Witnesses recall seeing him recently driving into his beautiful mansion.
