Youth leaders from across the Ekiti North Senatorial District have come together to establish the Ekiti North Youth Alliance (ENYA), a non-partisan platform aimed at fostering unity, leadership development, political inclusion, and career advancement for young people in the region. The inaugural meeting of the alliance was held at Motel Express, Ido-Ekiti, and witnessed the participation of youth from various local government areas within the district.
A major highlight of the meeting was the unanimous appointment of Mr. Onipede Oluwaseun as the General Secretary of the alliance. His primary role will be to oversee administrative duties, document proceedings, and coordinate communication among members. Attendees agreed that having a structured leadership would ensure the smooth running of the group’s activities.
The alliance also discussed membership expansion, stressing the need for careful recruitment to prevent infiltration by individuals with personal or divisive interests. It was resolved that only those who share the vision and mission of the alliance would be admitted.
