It was celebration galore in Ogbomoso and across Nigeria on Tuesday as friends, associates, and admirers joined in honoring the former Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Mulikat Akande-Adeola, who marked her 65th birthday with gratitude, joy, and glowing tributes.
In a heartfelt message, A seasoned politician and one of her aide, Ezekiel Agbomojo described the Ogbomoso-born political icon as “a visionary leader whose dedication, wisdom, and compassion continue to inspire many across generations.” He lauded her sterling record of public service and her historic contributions to governance and national development.
Agbomojo noted that Akande-Adeola’s life has been defined by excellence and impact, both in the private and public sectors. “She has served with distinction and integrity across all spheres. Her leadership reflects courage, empathy, and an unrelenting commitment to good governance,” he said.

Her transition into politics opened another chapter of purposeful service. Her tenure was marked by diligence, strategic negotiation, and unwavering advocacy for inclusivity, especially the empowerment of women and youth.

“As we celebrate this milestone with you, we reaffirm our admiration and gratitude for your selfless service. You remain an enduring inspiration to generations yet unborn,” he concluded.
