The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has received unanimous endorsement from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun for a second term in office in 2026.
Governor Adeleke made this known after a meeting with the PDP Leadership Caucus held in Osogbo yesterday. The meeting followed weeks of consultations with stakeholders across the state, including traditional rulers, civil servants, market leaders, and grassroots party members.
In a statement issued after the meeting, Governor Adeleke reaffirmed his commitment to the PDP, describing it as the party that gave him the platform to serve the good people of Osun.
The communiqué also revealed that the Osun PDP has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for re-election in 2027, recognising him as a proud son of Osun State.
Governor Adeleke said, “I remain in the PDP, the party that gave me the platform to serve the good people of Osun. I have been unanimously endorsed by the Osun PDP for a second term in 2026.”
He added that the PDP remains the most popular and trusted party across Osun State, assuring citizens that he will continue to deliver on his Five-Point Agenda with renewed focus and dedication.
“The love and support from the people of Osun continue to inspire me. Together, we move forward,” he concluded.
