The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the commencement of a nationwide recruitment drive for four major paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior. The recruitment, which officially begins on Thursday, June 26, 2025, will run for a period of three weeks.
The agencies involved in the 2025 recruitment exercise include the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS). These agencies operate under the supervision of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).
In an official statement released on Monday in Abuja, the Secretary of the CDCFIB, retired Major-General Abdulmalik Jubril, called on qualified Nigerians to apply for full-time employment opportunities across the agencies. According to him, all applications must be submitted online through the board’s official portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.org.
Jubril emphasized that the application process is completely free and warned applicants to be cautious of fraudulent websites and individuals requesting payment for job placement.
“Applications should be submitted online within three weeks from the date of this publication. Note that the application is absolutely free,” the board stated.
He further stressed that candidates are allowed to apply for only one agency, and that multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification.
