In light of the global observance of Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the conclusion of the Ramadan fast, Engr. Aderemi Oseni, the lawmaker representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo State and Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), has urged Nigerians to prioritize nation-building efforts during this festive period.
Through a statement released by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, Oseni underscored the importance of collective action and unity in advancing the development agenda of the nation.
Eid-el-Fitr holds significant meaning as a time for reflection, gratitude, and community solidarity, according to the lawmaker.
“While we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, it is crucial that we do not lose sight of the critical task of nation-building that lies ahead of us. Nigeria’s progress hinges on our ability to collaborate, rise above divisions, and construct a unified society,” remarked the lawmaker.
As a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oseni appealed to Nigerians to set aside their differences and concentrate on common objectives that foster peace, unity, and socio-economic prosperity.
Highlighting the necessity of inclusivity, Oseni encouraged citizens to actively engage in initiatives aimed at promoting national cohesion and development.
