VIDEO: Controversial social commentator, VeryDarkMan, has again brought the late singer Mohbad’s case to the spotlight, following a private conversation he held with music promoter Sam Larry. In a new video posted online, VeryDarkMan insisted that the real issue is not paternity tests, but the search for truth and justice.
Speaking passionately, he said, “We have been shouting DNA test, DNA test… but the truth is, Sam Larry and Naira Marley may know what happened to that boy. Sam Larry may not have killed Mohbad, but he was involved in things that contributed to the boy’s suffering.”
He emphasized that the viral video showing Sam Larry confronting Mohbad was only a small part of a larger pattern of harassment. According to VeryDarkMan, there were several other incidents that have not been made public.
He also noted that he has personally interacted with Sam Larry and that while Sam Larry denied having any direct role in Mohbad’s death, there is still more he and others need to reveal. “Sam Larry told me his own side, but deep down, even he knows that justice has not been done,” he said.
Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba, passed away on September 12, 2023, under unclear circumstances. His death sparked public outrage and calls for justice from fans and civil society groups nationwide.
VeryDarkMan called on Nigerians to stop focusing only on DNA tests and instead demand full investigations and accountability from those closest to the singer before his death.
“Let’s stop the distractions. Mohbad suffered. And until everyone involved comes clean, there will be no peace,” he concluded.
