Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has taken a bold step towards a successful 2025/26 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) campaign by unveiling a refreshed technical and backroom team. The Oluyole Warriors, one of Nigeria’s most storied football clubs, say the new appointments reflect their ambition to compete at the highest level and deliver exciting football to their passionate supporters.
The technical crew will now feature Akin Olowokere, Ayeoba Adedeji Gabriel, and Shakiru Lawal as assistant coaches, each bringing valuable experience and tactical know-how to support the head coach in shaping a competitive squad. In the goalkeeping department, Gopar Cornelius assumes the role of goalkeeper trainer, while Grace Towobola has been named strength and conditioning coach to ensure players maintain peak fitness throughout the season.
The backroom structure has also been significantly strengthened. Tammy Tamuno will serve as team manager and chief scout, overseeing player recruitment and logistics. Habeeb Opeyemi joins as team psychologist, focusing on the mental resilience and well-being of the squad. Jesse Afuye will handle match analysis, providing performance data and tactical insights, while Lawrence Adedeji takes up the position of coaching officer to further enhance technical development.
Club management expressed confidence that the newly assembled team will bring renewed energy, discipline, and strategic direction to the Oluyole Warriors. With pre-season preparations already underway, the message from Ibadan is clear — Shooting Stars SC are recharged, united, and ready to fight for glory in the NPFL.
