BREAKING: Government Announces 4-Day Eidul Fitr Holidays From April 10

According to recent reports, the government has announced special holidays for Eidul Fitr. Offices that follow a five-day work week will have a three-day holiday, while those with a six-day work week will have a four-day holiday.

As stated in the notification issued by the Cabinet Division, the holidays will commence on Wednesday, April 10, and conclude on Friday, April 12, for offices with a five-day work week. For offices that operate six days a week, the holidays will begin on Wednesday, April 10, and end on Saturday, April 13.

Eidul Fitr is a significant festival in the Islamic lunar calendar and is celebrated at the conclusion of the holy month of Ramazan. During this month, Muslims worldwide observe fasting as an act of self-restraint. The festivities of Eid mark the end of this period of devotion.

This year, Eidul Fitr is expected to be observed on either April 10 or April 11, depending on the sighting of the moon.
