Cost of forms for the upcoming PDP Congresses.*

Resolution at the Meeting of the State Working Committee (SWC) – Wednesday, 24th April 2024

1. That the SWC deliberated on the outcomes of the recent National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting. Deliberations also included ethical considerations and guidelines for the upcoming Congress in Ekiti State.

2. That the SWC acknowledged and appreciated the resolution of all court cases, culminating in the recent judgment that has settled all legal disputes within the party. This development allows the party to concentrate fully on planning a seamless Congress.

3. That the SWC outlined a schedule of essential meetings preceding the Congress, including statutory meetings with the State Executive Council (SEC), and Stakeholders. It was resolved that these meetings will commence without delay, starting next week, to address Congress-related matters and propel the party forward.

4. That towards the realization of the set objective of have a seamless Congress and other activities of the party the SWC has agreed to inaugurate the already established committee so as to start their work in earnest

5. That the SWC extends gratitude to all party leaders and organs for their unwavering support during the legal processes. Continuous collaboration and support are essential for propelling the party forward.

6. That the SWC addressed the issue of the party register, assigning the responsibility to facilitate and collect funds for the register procurement in their respective local governments to the local government chairmen. Each ward’s register costs #35,000, and the funds must be made available within one week to ensure timely compilation and distribution across all 16 local governments of Ekiti State, adhering to the national directive.
