Filmmaker Eniola Ajao has made an appeal to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) requesting the release of the controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky. According to The Nation, Bobrisky was recently convicted for defacing naira notes during Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Eniola Ajao expressed her sadness and extended her thoughts and prayers to Bobrisky. She emphasized that Bobrisky had been a great support to her and should not be facing such issues due to the movie. She also mentioned that perhaps the sequel to her movie, which she suggested could be titled “Ajakaju,” had inadvertently caused a lot of controversy and attention.
Eniola Ajao urged the EFCC to assist in ensuring Bobrisky’s safe return home. She acknowledged that lessons had been learned from the incident and that they would refrain from spraying money in the future, opting for transfers instead. She urged her followers to show support by watching her movie, “#ajakajuthemovie” (Beast of Two Worlds), in cinemas across Nigeria, emphasizing that it was still being screened.
