The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Engr. Kayode Olubunmi Ojo, has extended warm felicitations to the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, as she marks her 65th birthday.
In a goodwill message personally signed by him, Engr. Ojo described the First Lady as “a virtuous woman of substance and humility, whose life has remained devoted to the service of humanity and the progress of Nigeria.”
He commended Senator Tinubu’s political career, recalling her three-term service in the Nigerian Senate where she distinguished herself through impactful representation. “Today, as the Mother of the Nation, she reflects the virtues extolled in the Holy Bible — a woman who brings favor to her husband and whose unwavering support has been instrumental to the historic success of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in attaining the highest office in the land,” Ojo noted.
The Ekiti-born politician further lauded the First Lady as a resilient and visionary woman whose contributions to nation-building and the Renewed Hope Agenda continue to inspire millions. He described her as a “beacon of hope and role model for women across Africa,” while praying for more wisdom, grace, and good health for her as she continues to provide motherly guidance to the nation.
On behalf of the Governing Council, staff, and students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, as well as the people of Ekiti State and members of the APC, Engr.
