The Ekiti State House of Assembly will hold a special plenary session today to commemorate the first anniversary of the 7th Assembly.
The event, which is scheduled to take place at 2 pm in the Hallowed Chamber of the Assembly Complex, will feature several key activities:
1. Presentation of a compendium of laws passed by the 7th Assembly over the last year to the Governor of Ekiti State.
2. Presentation of letters of recognition to performing Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) and other government bodies.
3. A documentary showcasing the activities and achievements of the House during its first year in office.
4. Recognition and awards presented to past Speakers of the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
The celebration is being organized by the House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, chaired by Hon. Babatunde Oke.
This event marks an important milestone for the 7th Assembly as they reflect on their legislative accomplishments over the past year and look forward to continued progress in serving the people of Ekiti State.
