The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State has announced an adjusted timetable and schedule of activities for the party’s 2024 congresses.
According to a notice issued by the State Secretary, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party has extended the membership drive deadline to Thursday, June 27, 2024. This extension is to allow for the continued registration of new members across the state.
The revised timetable is as follows:
1. Ward Congresses to Elect Ward Executives and 3-Ad Hoc Delegates: Saturday, July 27, 2024
2. Ward Congresses Appeals: Friday, August 02, 2024
3. LGA Congresses to Elect LGA Executives and National Delegates: Saturday, August 10, 2024
4. LGA Congresses Appeals: Friday, August 16, 2024
5. State Congresses to Select State Executives: Saturday, August 31, 2024
6. State Congresses Appeals: Thursday, September 05, 2024
7. NWC Meeting: Thursday, September 12, 2024
8. 2nd NEC Meeting: Thursday, September 26, 2024
The State Secretary has instructed all ward Chairmen and Secretaries to continue the registration of new members, with the new register submission date to be announced later.
This revised timetable is aimed at ensuring a smooth and inclusive process for the party’s 2024 congresses in Ekiti State. PDP members in the state are urged to be guided accordingly and participate actively in the upcoming activities.
