The primary objective of this initiative is to gather crucial data that will contribute to shaping policies and programs geared towards creating a conducive environment for economic growth and job creation within the state. By obtaining accurate and up-to-date information about the unemployed population and the diverse range of artisans operating in various sectors, the government will be better equipped to allocate resources and implement targeted interventions that address the specific needs of these groups.
The registration process is open to a wide range of individuals who fall under the following categories: unemployed individuals, market women and men, representatives from the organized private sector, community development leaders, artisans and workers in the informal sector, persons living with disabilities, and individuals aged between 18 and 50 years.
There are two methods available for registration: in-person registration and online registration. For those who prefer in-person registration, desk officers will be stationed at all 16 conventional Local Government offices across the state to provide assistance and support throughout the registration process. Alternatively, individuals can opt for online registration by visiting the official website of the Ekiti State Ministry of Wealth Creation & Employment at https://wealthcreation.ekiapps.ng
