I’m 100% Obidient” – Isaac Fayose Speaks After Peter Obi Visits Him at His Residence
Businessman and social commentator, Isaac Fayose, has reaffirmed his unwavering support for former Anambra State Governor and 2027 presidential hopeful, Peter Obi, following a visit by the politician to his residence.
The visit came days after Fayose faced criticism on social media over his recent meeting with Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, which sparked speculation that he had abandoned the Obidient movement.
In a video shared online after the visit, an excited Fayose welcomed Obi warmly, describing him as Nigeria’s “incoming president.”
Reacting to those who questioned his loyalty, Fayose declared:
“For those criticising me, I’m 100% Obidient. We’re together, and we’re winning.”
Peter Obi, who paid the visit as a condolence following the recent death of Fayose’s wife, was received at the residence in a friendly atmosphere, with both men exchanging warm conversations.
The visit appears to have put to rest rumours that Fayose had distanced himself from the Obidient movement after his widely discussed interaction with Seyi Tinubu.
Earlier in the week, Fayose had maintained that despite his cordial relationship with individuals across political divides, his support for Peter Obi remained unchanged, insisting that politics should not breed hatred.
