FG Opens Applications for Laptop, Smartphone Loan Scheme; Here’s How Nigerians Can Apply
The Federal Government has commenced applications for its Credit for Laptops, Internet, Connectivity and Knowledge Digital Devices (C.L.I.C.K.D.) Programme, designed to enable eligible Nigerians to acquire laptops, smartphones and tablets through affordable consumer credit.
The initiative is being implemented by the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy to improve access to digital devices and promote digital inclusion across the country.
According to information released by CREDICORP, interested applicants are required to visit the official C.L.I.C.K.D. application portal and complete an online registration form.

* Visit the official C.L.I.C.K.D. application portal.

* Choose the category that best describes them, including salary earners, freelancers, business owners, students, job seekers or NYSC members.

Eligible Applicants
CREDICORP disclosed that the current pilot phase is limited to 1,000 laptops, with priority given to beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s Three Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme.
However, the inclusion of participants from other digital training initiatives on the application form suggests that the scheme may later be expanded to accommodate more Nigerians.
The corporation has yet to announce details regarding the interest rate, repayment duration or any required down payment for successful applicants.
Prospective beneficiaries are encouraged to submit their applications early and monitor official CREDICORP announcements for updates on the programme, eligibility requirements and device distribution.
