NAQS Opens Recruitment Status Portal, Sets CBT for August 20
The Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) has announced that applicants who participated in its ongoing recruitment exercise can now check the status of their applications on the official recruitment portal.
In a public notice dated August 18, 2026, the agency directed all applicants to log in to recruitment.naqs.gov.ng using their registered details to determine whether they have progressed to the next stage of the recruitment process.
According to the notice, applicants whose status shows that they have progressed will be required to prepare for the Computer-Based Test (CBT), which is scheduled to commence online through the recruitment portal on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
The agency said the exact schedule for the CBT will be communicated directly to shortlisted applicants through the email addresses they provided during the application process.
NAQS urged applicants to regularly check their registered email accounts and the official recruitment portal for updates concerning the exercise.
The agency also cautioned applicants against relying on unofficial information, stressing the need to remain vigilant and obtain recruitment-related information only through official NAQS channels.
The notice was signed electronically by ACG Issaka Ahmed, Director of Human Resources, on behalf of the Board Chairman.
NAQS wished all applicants success as the recruitment exercise progresses and thanked them for their commitment to a smooth recruitment process.
