According to the recruitment notice, the exercise is completely free, and applicants have been advised not to pay money to anyone or fall victim to fraudsters.
The recruitment covers three major categories, including the Officer Cadre, Marshal Inspectorate Cadre, and Road Marshal Assistant Cadre. Vacancies are available for graduates, HND holders, ND/NCE holders, SSCE certificate holders, as well as professionals and artisans such as drivers, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, computer operators, tailors and motorcycle riders.
Applicants for officer positions are expected to possess relevant university degrees or HND qualifications from recognised institutions, alongside their NYSC discharge or exemption certificates where applicable. Candidates applying for marshal and road marshal assistant positions are required to meet the specified academic qualifications, including SSCE, ND, NCE or equivalent certificates depending on the role.

A valid driver’s licence will serve as an added advantage for all cadres, while applicants must also meet the minimum height requirement of 1.65 metres for males and 1.58 metres for females. Pregnant women have been advised not to apply.
Applications are to be submitted online through the FRSC recruitment portal at https://recruitment.frsc.gov.ng. The Commission noted that shortlisted candidates will be required to present printed copies of their application forms during the screening exercise.
The application window will remain open for four weeks beginning Friday, July 3, 2026.
For enquiries, applicants can contact the FRSC through 122.
The Commission reiterated that the recruitment exercise is free of charge and urged applicants to beware of fraudsters demanding payment in exchange for employment.
