DSS has arrested Soyinka at Lagos Airport.

According to reports from PREMIUM TIMES, Adejuwon Soyinka, a journalist with the Conversation Africa, was arrested by the Department of State Security Services (DSS) upon his arrival at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMI) in Lagos on Sunday.

 

Soyinka, who had flown in from the United Kingdom on a Virgin Atlantic flight, was apprehended by DSS officials at approximately 5:40 a.m. The reasons behind his detention are currently unknown, as the DSS has not released an official statement.
