In a significant political development, Dr. Wole Oluyede, a highly respected politician and medical doctor from Ikere and Australia, has officially joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) along with his supporters from the Ekiti Rebirth movement.
In a Press Statement issued by Ekiti Rebirth Movement, led by Mr Olorunda, Oluyede’s decision to join the PDP is seen as a major boost for the party’s efforts to bring about positive change in Ekiti State. The Ekiti Rebirth movement, led by Dr. Oluyede’s aide, Mr Olorunda who said they have now joined forces with the PDP, with the aim of reaching out to all categories of people in the 177 wards across the 16 local governments of Ekiti State.
